Booking Fee for Cakes
Your cake order will only be secured in the diary once the booking fee has been paid. No dates can be held without this. The fee will be 50% of the total balance of your cake order. Final payment for cakes must be paid 2 weeks before collection/delivery.
For cupcake bouquets and cupcakes no deposit is required however the final payment must be paid in full at least 2 weeks before collection/delivery.
The booking fee is non-refundable. Any changes to your order must be done a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the cake collection or delivery date. Any changes made may incur a charge.

Collection
If you wish to collect your cake order, you must keep to the agreed date and timeslot. Once collected, the order becomes your responsibility.
We advise having someone with you to hold/secure the cake, cupcakes or cupcake bouquets during transportation.
If this is not possible we recommend clearing a space on the floorwell or your car or in the boot of your car with something supporting the sides to keep it secure and to stop it moving about.

Storage
Please keep you cake chilled in the fridge and take out 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving to let it come to room temperature.
All baked goods are best consumed on the day of collection or up to a maximum of 3 days after, any leftovers must be kept refrigerated and brought to room temperature before serving.

Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation, the booking fee is non-refundable. Any balance paid after that however, can be refunded if the cake is cancelled over two weeks before the cake is due, at the discretion of TracyBakes.

Photographs
We reserve the right to photograph your cake order, before delivery/collection for our own reference, use on our web site, on social media sites and may be printed for our portfolio of work.

Release & Liability
We will work with you to ensure you are completely happy with your order. We shall not be held responsible for your cake order once collected or delivered. We will also advise you on how to store your cake beforehand.
We cannot be held responsible for any damages caused to the cake once it leaves the premises. We know accidents happen and we will try and help if it's within our means to fix any damage that may occur, at a cost depending on the extent and if we have the time, at the managers discretion.
In the unlikely event of a late delivery, the maximum compensation will be a refund of the delivery & setup fee. We ask for patience with factors that may be out of our control (e.g weather or traffic conditions) as we cannot be held liable for such delays.

Complaints
In the unlikely event of a complaint, a partial or full refund will only be given to the client upon return of the cake within 24 hours of collection/delivery. A minimum of 3/4 of the cake must be returned for assessment and a refund will then be given if the management concur it was a fault on part of TracyBakes. Complaints received 5 days or more after the cake was collected/delivered will not be dealt with, as we were given no opportunity to try and correct any issues at the time, and no cake would be available for assessment. No refunds will be given on difference of artistic opinion with regards to design or colour tones. Any refunds given are at the discretion of the manager.

Anti Defamation
If you have any concerns or complaints about your order, we ask that you do not use social media, blogs or forums etc to attack or criticize TracyBakes. We will not respond to any complaints posted in public forums, we ask that you contact us direct via email, phone or a private message. Any attacks or unwarranted comments made in public forums that may bring a bad name to the business or employees, will be seen as libel and slander and we will endeavour to seek legal advice and claim for damages.

Allergies
We cannot make Gluten Free cakes. Unfortunately we do not have a separate area to be able to commit to gluten free products and we can not afford to buy separate mixers, cake tins, utensils ect to be able to make gluten free items. We can deep clean and sanitise before baking, and we can use gluten free ingredients to make our baked goods, but with every care in the world we cannot guarantee a 100% gluten free product as we deal with ingredients that contain or may contain wheat/gluten on a daily basis.
We also use products that contain or may contain milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy on a daily basis, and therefore cannot guarantee that the products we produce are 100% allergen free.
We cannot make nut free products. We use these products on a daily basis and even if we took every precaution when baking, we cannot 100% guarantee that no cross contamination may occur. Due to the very serious nature of the allergy, we are not prepared to chance your life and our business over a cupcake. We hope you understand.
